The 1999 FIFA World Player of the Year and 2002 World Cup winner played for the Greek record champions for three years. The French international played for Olympiakos Piraeus for three years. When he won the championship in 1947, he was four games short of receiving an official medal and three years later he lost the FA Cup final with Liverpool. In 229 championship games he scored 61 goals for the red and whites. In the final against the U-23 of the Mexican club UANL Tigres, he scored two goals in a 3-0 win. As a result, he reached the final of the Reserve League National with the club, in which they met Aston Villa's reserves.

Despite his height (191 cm), Giovanni was considered one of the greatest technicians of his time. Giovanni carries in Greece thanks to his outstanding Technical skills earned him the nickname “Magos” (Greek Μάγος), which means “the magician”. Đorđević is the record holder in Greece with twelve championship titles in 13 years. Delikaris is without a doubt one of the best footballers Greece has ever produced.
Grigoris Georgatos, also called "Trelos karaflos" (crazy bald head), was considered one of the best wing players in Greece.
